Here at Pende Valde we source grapes from around Australia to produce high quality, premium wines. Our winery is located in the Riverina region of New South Wales, and the majority of our harvest comes from vineyards on our doorstep. By combination of historic techniques and modern technology, Pende Valde is always making fine quality wines in the wine world.

The Winery

Our winery is located in Yenda, NSW. Our harvest this year consisted of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Semillon, Chardonnay, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc. We crush, ferment and store our wines which are all bottled on the estate.

The Vineyard

At Pende Valde we source fruit from around South Eastern Australia. The majority of our growers are in the Riverina, New south Wales, but we also bring fruit in from Mildura and Swan Hill in Victoria, Padthaway, Riverland, Barossa and Adelaide Hills in South Australia.

Lead Winemaker

Sean Morgan

A European winemaker with over 20 years of experience. He has worked in top wine regions like Barossa Valley and Bordeaux.

Philosophy: Uses “low-yield” methods, selecting only the highest quality grapes with low water content to create concentrated wines.

Achievement at Pende Valde: In his 7th year, he led the team to create “The Mosman” through meticulous processes like daily hand-sorting and temperature control. The wine is celebrated for its stunning balance and complexity.

Awards: Sean has explored world-renowned wine regions such as Australia’s Barossa Valley and France’s Bordeaux. His creations have won multiple international IWSC awards.
